Carlos qualified as a dentist in Brazil and has been practicing dentistry since 2012. For the first two years of his career, he worked as a dental surgeon in close contact with a huge variety of indigenous groups and riverside populations, in the Amazon rainforest of Brazil 🇧🇷

Following this incredible experience, he returned to his hometown to practice private dentistry and completed a master’s degree in Diagnostic and Maxillofacial Surgery (2016). In 2018, he moved to the UK 🇬🇧 and has since focused his attention to pediatric and preventative dentistry, working as a dental hygienist and therapist.

Prevention is his ethos when it comes to oral and general health and he believes the best way to achieve this, is through education and the development of good habits in the early stages of life.
